Job Description

We are seeking a talented and empathetic Therapist/AMFT to join our dedicated team full-time. As a Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing effective counseling and support to our clients, helping them on their journey to recovery. Responsibilities:

Conduct group therapy sessions and individual therapy sessions while adhering to program standards. Document client progress and participation accurately.
Perform intake assessments and biopsychosocial assessments to gather clinical information. Collaborate with clients to develop treatment plans and implement them effectively.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical records for clients, documenting all provided services within each individualized treatment episode.
Prepare progress reports and relevant letters for appropriate parties as needed.
Educate families and groups on substance abuse and mental health treatments, as well as prevention programs.
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals or counseling services when necessary.
Assist clients in discharge planning, identifying their needs, and connecting them with appropriate services.
Ensure all documentation adheres to regulatory timeframes and requirements.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a clinical setting, social work, or a related field is required.
Compassionate and caring demeanor with a genuine desire to help individuals on their recovery journey.
Ability to establish rapport and build a trusting relationship with clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
Must hold an AMFT qualification.
Pay scale will be determined by experience and education
