Position Overview:
The Certified Nutritionist will play a key role in our practice, with a primary focus on weight loss management through the Fit Focus Weight Loss Program while also providing care for patients with other health concerns such as diabetes, heart health, and more. This role requires a holistic approach to patient care, utilizing diagnostic tools to create personalized plans encompassing nutrition, lifestyle, and exercise recommendations. Additionally, the ideal candidate will actively promote the value of nutrition, build relationships, and contribute to growing the program through community outreach and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage patients enrolled in the Fit Focus Weight Loss Program, guiding them through personalized health plans and providing ongoing support.
Provide comprehensive nutritional counseling for patients with diverse health concerns, including diabetes, heart health, and other chronic conditions.
Utilize diagnostic tools such as GI testing and food sensitivity testing to develop individualized meal plans, grocery lists, and lifestyle recommendations.
Educate patients on the importance of nutrition and lifestyle in achieving and maintaining optimal health.
Develop and implement personalized strategies to support patients' health goals, whether focused on weight loss or managing chronic conditions.
Collaborate closely with other providers, including the Physician Assistant and Functional Health Coaches, to ensure a cohesive, multidisciplinary approach to care.
Provide exercise recommendations tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
Proactively promote the Fit Focus Weight Loss Program and other nutritional services to patients, emphasizing the value and impact of a healthy lifestyle.
Build strong patient relationships by "selling" the concept of nutrition as a cornerstone of wellness, fostering trust and enthusiasm for your recommendations.
Actively participate in community outreach events, workshops, and seminars to educate and attract new patients to the practice.
Collaborate with the marketing team to identify opportunities for promoting the nutrition program and expanding its reach.
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset by identifying innovative ways to grow the weight loss and nutrition programs, ensuring their success and sustainability.

Qualifications:

Certification as a Nutritionist (required).
Proven experience in weight loss management and nutritional counseling for chronic health conditions.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as GI testing and food sensitivity testing.
Strong ability to educate and motivate patients effectively.
Collaborative mindset with a passion for holistic, integrative health.
Comfortable with promoting and discussing services and programs with patients.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with patients managing diabetes, heart health, and other chronic conditions.
Knowledge of exercise physiology or fitness coaching is a plus.
