Position Summary
As a member of the Administrative Professional team (AP Satellite), our focus is to enable business partners to operate at their highest efficiency, being responsive to change and fit for the future.
We are growing to be a self-organized team and partnering to deliver better outcomes.
We provide tailored team operations and foundational administrative support to individuals and teams across Oncology, ensuring continuity and coordination of work.
As a communicative, proactive assistant, you will carry out tasks with minimal direction, making recommendations and ultimately finding solutions.

Business Operations tasks:

Virtual collaboration within Oncology satellite and wider teams (Google and Roche tools).
Work Package / Project Coordination – ability to prioritize and develop solutions.
Contribute and strengthen agile practices within the team, e.g. by taking on occasional scrum master responsibilities, preparing team stand-ups, retrospectives and more.
Foundational Administrative support tasks
General administrative support via intake tool (shared inbox): meeting logistics, recruitment, contract and compliance support.
MyBuy knowledge is a plus. (open and process with purchase orders to ensure accuracy of payments)
Who you are
High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 5 years previous administrative or related experience that includes supporting a senior leader of an organization or an Associate’s Degree with 3 years administrative or related experience or a Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of administrative or related experience (Participation in an approved college internship program may be considered in lieu of experience)
You have good verbal and written communication skills – fluency in English is a requirement, additional language skill (German and French) is a plus.
You have experience working in diverse and complex organizational cultures and structures, you are embracing the concept of constantly adapting to support Roche’s 10 year ambitions.
You are tech savvy and proficient with technology applications and enjoy exploring new digital tools. You have strong Google Suite skills.
You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail and have the ability to track and manage projects through to completion.
You maintain a collaborative, professional, highly responsive, and team-oriented approach to the workplace.
You are able to work independently and with a team effectively.
You have an ability to see the big picture and incorporate problem solving, critical thinking and tactical execution into your daily work.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $74K – $139K. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
