The Opportunity As a data analyst at PicnicHealth, you will use data and analysis to influence product strategy and investment decisions, and support business management and executive decision-making. You will participate in projects from inception to delivery, proactively dig into anomalies and ensure that analysis delivers high-quality data and insights to grow our business. You will also partner with the Data Engineering team to define new or modified data models needed in the data warehouse. You will be working in a fast paced, high energy, and fun work environment to deliver value incrementally and frequently.

In this role, you will: Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Operations, Product, Engineering, Research, Data Engineering, Growth, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to identify business requirements, metrics, and KPIs for a wide array of business and product problems; Work with large and complex data sets to solve challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches; Build, deliver, and maintain reports, dashboards, and interactive data visualizations; Develop a deep understanding of business domain knowledge; Conduct deep dives and root cause analyses to identify and resolve data integrity issues; Communicate findings effectively to cross-functional partners in order to affect positive change and fix integrity gaps; and Helping grow our team, by attracting, interviewing, and onboarding your future teammates during this exciting time of growth.

You are a great candidate if you have BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Analytics or related field; Min 3 years of relevant experience; Advanced knowledge of SQL with ability to query and analyze large volumes of data; Experience using Python or R for analytical modeling; Experience using Excel/Google Sheet functions/pivots; Experience analyzing and curating data and building visualizations with Tableau, Metabase, Looker or similar BI tools; Knowledge of and experience with database technologies like MySQL, Postgres, BigQuery or similar; and Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with strong business sense and an ability to communicate analyses in a clear and compelling manner. Nice to haves Experience in A/B testing, statistical modeling and forecasting; Experience building pipelines using ETL tools like Airflow and dbt; and/or Understanding of data design and architecture principles. We offer a hybrid set up for our team: team members in the Bay Area can work from the SF office on a flexible schedule; remote team members are expected to travel to in-person meetings 4-6 times a year. You also get:

Minimum Qualification
Data Science & Machine Learning, Business Intelligence & AnalyticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
