Licensed Vocational Nurse

Location: Healdsburg, CA

Work Schedule: On Call / Per Diem

Shift: 12-hour, Nights

The Licensed Vocational Nurse performs services requiring technical and manual skills including the administration and management of IV therapy. Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. “Direct” supervision means that the Registered Nurse shall be present on the same nursing unit as the person being supervised and available for consultation, direction and assistance. The LVN functions within the scope of his/her licensure and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training – Graduate of a School of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technician Program.
  • 6 months Acute care experience within the last two years.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in California.
  • Current CPR.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Long-term care, home care, or sub acute care.
  • Valid IV Certification from the Board of Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Technician Examiners or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
