Role Description:
This part-time, on-site role in Jupiter, FL, is for a PRN Physical Therapist at Optimal Physical Therapy and Wellness. As a PRN Physical Therapist, you will get to choose your own schedule and treat as much or as little as you want to suit your lifestyle. You will be expected to have the appropriate skill and knowledge to assess, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal, neurological, and other medical conditions. Responsibilities include developing and implementing patient treatment plans, monitoring progress, and maintaining comprehensive patient care documentation. This role is ideal for those seeking a fulfilling profession with a workload below industry standards to prevent burnout.

Responsibilities
- Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
- Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
- Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
- Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
- Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
- Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
- Consult and practice with other health professionals
- Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
- Document patient care services
Skills
- Proven work experience as a physical therapist
- Intensive education and clinical expertise
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Drive to continually learn and grow
- Professional behaviour
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid licence to practice physical therapy
Qualifications:
- Current Florida State Physical Therapist License
- Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy
- Previous experience in a physical therapy clinic or similar healthcare setting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Exceptional attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required
