Carolina Prime Physical Therapy is actively hiring a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist who would like to join our Women's Health program and treat a variety of dysfunctions and impairments associated with Women's Health and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. The therapist would train (mentorship) with a Certified Pelvic Floor Therapist and would have the opportunity to further their education.
Carolina Prime Physical Therapy is a privately owned outpatient clinic located in North Wilkesboro, NC.
Job Responsibilities will focus on exercise-based treatment, pt education using various methods including technology. Therapist will provide individualized one on one treatments to address women's health. This can range from creating fitness plans to address core strength, pelvic floor weakness, or weakness as a result of hormonal changes.
You will be shadowing and working one on one with Certified Pelvic Floor Therapist to provide exercise- based treatment plans with use of modalities as needed.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, such as exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment, to improve patients' functional abilities
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on strategies for managing their conditions and maximizing independence
