Job Description
We are seeking an organized and technically skilled Robotics Lab Manager to oversee daily lab operations, maintain equipment, ensure safety compliance, and support engineering and research teams. The role combines technical expertise with administrative oversight to enable innovation in robotics.
Key Responsibilities
Lab Operations and Maintenance
- Manage daily lab activities, maintain and repair robotics systems, and oversee inventory.
Safety and Compliance
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct training to meet regulatory standards.
Technical Support
- Assist with experiment setups, troubleshoot issues, and provide equipment guidance.
Project Management
- Coordinate lab resources for projects and track progress.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and mentor lab users in best practices.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records, budgets, and schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in robotics or similar environments.
- Proficiency in robotics systems and relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, ROS).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience with fabrication tools (e.g., 3D printing, CNC).
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
