- Provides pediatric physical therapy treatment to the patients based upon supervisors’ directions.
- Provide strong interest in working with 0-3 baby and toddler population and parents for coaching model.
- Provides therapeutic skills for young children (0-12 years old)
- Provides on-going therapy on an outpatient basis
- Documents daily/weekly therapy for each client on the “Daily Therapy Note”
- Regularly communicate changes, progress and concerns to supervisor
- Responsible for maintaining good working relationship with coworkers and facilitating teamwork wherever services are being provided.
- Demonstrates sensitivity to cross cultural issues.
- Adheres to the regulatory and practice of pediatric physical therapy assistant.
- Other duties assigned by supervisor or management
Patient Education:
- Facilitates movement toward a healthcare partnership between providers, the patients and their families.
- Educates patient/families regarding therapeutic exercises, activities and equipment.
We are open 5 days a week and offer flexible scheduling
Bilingual – Spanish, Vietnamese, or other languages preferred
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- California Board PTA License
- 1-3 years of previous pediatric therapy experience
- Previous use of Central Reach, helpful but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to therapy software
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to pass clean/clear - FBI/DOJ background check
- First Aid/CPR training
- TB results (2 step-within last 30 days)
