Position: Licensed Counselor, LCSW, LPC, LCPC preferably LSOTP. We are in need of
Salary: $62,000-$80,000 ****Annual stipend for LSOTP

Summary: Full-time position in a high-end residential treatment setting working with DCFS youth aged 12-19 years with sexual behavior problems (SBP). The hours are flexible and will include some evenings and a possible weekend day. The benefits include medical, dental, and 401k. Experience in residential or similar mental health setting preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing and documenting group, individual, family therapy, and crisis intervention.
- Development of admission note, mental health assessment, behavior intervention plan, run risk assessment, individual treatment plan.
- Working with a variety of other team members as a clinical leader. Work with a culturally diverse population.
- Presents clinical documentation in writing and verbal in multidisciplinary staffing, educational, legal or other entities relevant to the client’s treatment.
- Provide a proactive approach when dealing with escalated behaviors and attitudes
- Maintains confidentiality of records relating to client’s treatment
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited college or university and successful completion of a practicum and/or internship which includes a minimum of 1,000 hours or 1 year of clinical experience under the supervision of a qualified mental health professional (IL Code 132 QMHP criteria).
- Must satisfactorily complete: DCFS Criminal background check, FBI background check, drug screening, sex offender registry check, copy of education transcripts and license (LPC. LCPC, LCSW, LSOTP).

TCI is a high-end, 48-bed, residential facility, licensed by DCFS in the State of Illinois. TCI provides an intensive, 24-hour therapeutic treatment environment for young men from the ages of 12-19. Through milieu therapy, we promote a community-based, systematic approach that focuses on positive behavior interactions, interventions and supports within the parameters of a safe, secure and structured milieu environment. Within our milieu environment, our goal is to build self-esteem, teach individual accountability as well as appropriate coping, social and problem-solving skills so that our youth gain the tools necessary to interact appropriately with others in various social settings. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), our clinicians take a goal-oriented approach at turning previously held maladaptive and distorted thoughts, undesirable feelings and responses, and inappropriate behaviors into those that are more befitting allowing our youth to successfully execute their environment now and in their future endeavors.
