About the PositionFirstLight Home Care is seeking a Director of Client Care to oversee and manage client care operations in our Campbell, CA office. This pivotal leadership role ensures the highest level of care for our clients while managing our team of Client Care Managers. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in home care, nursing, or case management and a passion for improving client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial client screenings and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Oversee and manage Client Care Managers to ensure department efficiency.
- Address and resolve client and caregiver complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Perform in-home visits and investigations as needed.
- Monitor client schedules and coordinate with the scheduling department.
- Respond to changes in client conditions as reported by caregivers and nurses.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community resources for comprehensive care solutions.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews and agency service evaluations.
- Provide leadership and oversight for client satisfaction initiatives.
- Take on periodic on-call responsibilities for after-hours emergencies and client intakes.
Qualifications- A.A. degree or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in home care, caregiving, case management, or nursing.
- Proven leadership experience managing client care operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate client concerns effectively.
- Intermediate computer skills with familiarity in WellSky (preferred).
- Ability to travel locally for in-home client visits and investigations.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year + bonus potential
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (with on-call responsibilities for two nights per week)
