We are seeking an LCSW, LPC, LAC, CAC, CIT, LMFT, LMSW, PLPC, CSW, RSW, MHS to join our team! You will provide recovery-oriented rehabilitation services in group or individual settings.
Qualifications
Master’s and/or Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or sociology. Additional Degree for Bachelor level positions: Rehabilitation services, special education, early childhood education, secondary education, family and consumer sciences, criminal justice, and human growth and development.
At least 1-2 years experience in a mental health setting.
As evidenced by previous work experience, academic background, and in-service or other training, the MHP shall demonstrate a working knowledge of: the normal processes of child and adolescent development; dysfunctional families and family systems counseling; mental and nervous conditions of childhood, adolescence, and adulthood: and community resources
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Maintain a current driver’s license and maintain current insurance.
Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC)
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Current state licensure as an Addiction Counselor.
- Experience with substance abuse counseling and treatment planning.
- Strong understanding of addiction recovery models and co-occurring disorders.
Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent certification requirements.
- Current certification as an Addiction Counselor (CAC) by a recognized authority.
- Experience in providing substance abuse assessments and individual/group counseling.
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and treatment approaches.
Counselor in Training (CIT)
Qualifications:
- Actively pursuing certification/licensure in addiction counseling.
- Enrolled in or completed relevant coursework or degree program.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development in substance abuse treatment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Environment
The Mental Health Specialist typically works in the community, but may use telehealth services as advised by the Louisiana Department of Health.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct counseling and support services in-person or through telehealth, with dignity and respect, to improve mental health and community wellness. Conduct psycho-educational, supportive crisis counseling, Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) and Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment (CPST) in the residence or community.
- Observe and monitor clients' medication compliance.
- MHP/S must maintain comprehensive and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, that align with best practices and quality standards outlined in the treatment plan. Provide on-call crisis management specific duties including, but not limited to, crisis planning, crisis intervention, and support.
- Provide case management services and referrals to community agencies for clients and families. Attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings.

Evening Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program Counselor
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on evidence-based interventions for adolescents and adults in recovery.
- Conduct individual counseling sessions to address personalized treatment goals.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and families.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with program policies and state regulations.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed during evening program hours.
- Coordinate care with external providers, schools, and community resources to support client recovery and well-being.
- Uphold program standards for a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.
- Participate in ongoing team meetings and professional development activities.
