Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for patients to help them regain or develop the necessary skills for daily living and working. As an OT, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care tailored to individual needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of rehabilitation techniques, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving patients' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and support to patients dealing with a variety of conditions, including but not limited to, neurological disorders, musculoskeletal injuries, and developmental disabilities.
- Educate patients and families on strategies and adaptive equipment to promote independence in daily living activities.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, speech therapists, and other occupational therapists, to coordinate treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Strong clinical knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
