● Provide direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in one-on-one and group settings to children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities
● Conduct functional behavior assessments, language and skills assessments, and functional analyses
● Develop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of ABA
● Develop behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols
● Train and supervise behavior technicians implementing treatment plans
● Design data collection systems to track and evaluate client progress
● Analyze data and monitor client progress toward goals.
● Provide parent, caregiver, and teacher training on the principles of ABA and behavior modification
● Effectively communicate and collaborate with a treatment team including client, parents and caregivers, teachers, medical professionals, and other pediatric disciplines.
● Assist with oversight of the clinic (including ensuring compliance with insurance requirements for session notes, treatment plans, supervision, treatment authorizations, RBT requirements, etc.).
● Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings and professional development events.
Requirements:
● Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) granted by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
● Licensed in the state of Iowa granted by The Board of Behavioral Science
● Experience working with children with autism or special needs
