Salary: $70,000 - $93,000

Job Overview:
A radiation therapist is a healthcare professional who specializes in administering radiation treatments to patients, primarily those with cancer. Their role is crucial in cancer treatment, as radiation therapy is often used to target and destroy cancer cells
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing Treatment Plans: Collaborating with radiation oncologists to determine the treatment plan, including dosage, area, and techniques.
Positioning Patients: Ensuring proper patient positioning using devices to ensure accurate and safe treatment.
Operating Radiation Equipment: Setting up and operating radiation machines to deliver the prescribed dose while minimizing healthy tissue exposure.
Monitoring Patients During Treatment: Observing patients for distress or complications and maintaining communication for reassurance and guidance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an approved program in Radiation Therapy
ARRT certified (New Mexico)
CPR
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience
