Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing support to clients and their families.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of clients.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure cohesive support for clients.
- Monitor client progress through data collection and analysis, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and other staff members on best practices in behavioral therapy.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with research and developments in the field of behavioral health and special education.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism.
- Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to behavioral health.
- Expertise in diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- In-depth understanding of applied behavior analysis methodologies.
- Ability to implement effective behavioral therapy strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with special education frameworks and resources.
