Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner is a nationally recognized leader in brain injury rehabilitation. Position Overview:
Learning Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide group and individual physical therapy services to clients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary treatment team to include psychology, physical, speech, recreational and occupational therapies. Specific areas of treatment may include, but are not limited to: vestibular issues, pain management, cervicogenic issues, flexibility and/or strength deficits, gait and balance disorders, functional mobility and transfers, mobility equipment assessment and recommendations and development of home exercise programs.
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, kind, confident, positive, patient, and adaptable. They excel in creating a supportive and encouraging environment, fostering trust and collaboration with clients, families and interdisciplinary teams. They should also be able to multi-task and communicate effectively tailoring treatments to each individual's unique needs, ensuring personalized and effective care.
Responsibilities:
● Review patient medical histories and diagnose conditions through observation and patient discussions
● Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with clear goals
● Utilize exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage pain and improve mobility
● Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
● Educate patients and family members about the recovery process and provide ongoing training and support for discharge planning
● Train staff on techniques related to client mobility and safety
● Program clinical equipment oversight
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
● Valid California PT license required
● Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred
● Bilingual - English and Spanish is a plus
● Computer literacy - Google and Microsoft products
● Experience in treating neurologically related physical disorders in community based settings is strongly preferred
● Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
● Exceptional clinical skills as shown by the ability to resolve crisis situations, evaluate client needs, formulate and monitor treatment

The compensation range for this position starts at $75/hr and includes a relocation bonus but will ultimately be determined by the candidate’s experience, education, knowledge and skills.
