Overview
We are looking for the right person to join our small North Carolina based group practice. The ideal individual will provide professional counseling services to individuals, couples, families, or groups in North Carolina to address various mental health concerns and promote overall well-being. Position may be performed remotely on a part-time basis, with some in-office availability in our beautiful downtown Pittsboro office is required. Our staff set their own hours, and determine their client population preferences. This highly flexible W-2 position includes a generous compensation package, in-house supervision for LCSW-A level clinicians, admin and billing support, a health care stipend, matching 401(k), and education/professional fees stipend.
Duties
- Conduct patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide psychotherapy sessions using evidence-based practices
- Offer treatment for behavioral health issues within your chosen area(s) of practice
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
-Adhere to and maintain current all NC State License Licensing Board requirements for best practice and code of conduct standards
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- LCSW, LCSW-A or LCMHC License in North Carolina **MUST HAVE A CURRENT, ACTIVE LICENSE FROM A NORTH CAROLINA LICENSING BOARD**
- Experience working in a clinical setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of at least one evidence-based treatment model

Our therapists are encouraged to work with client populations that are of particular interest to them! Full-time staff have access to continuing education/licensure expense stipend, health care stipend, matching 401(k), flexible scheduling, in-house supervision* and the option to work from home if desired on a part-time basis (some in-office hours are required).
*In house supervision is provided to LCSW-A clinicians. LCMHC-A clinicians may use stipend funds to offset out of pocket supervision expenses.
