About the role:
- Plan and implement a curriculum in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Create a stimulating and safe environment for children to explore, learn, and develop
- Provide high-quality care and support for children's physical, emotional, and educational needs
- Build positive relationships with children and their families, promoting effective communication and partnership working
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to individual learning plans
- Ensure compliance with nursery policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development opportunities
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about providing high-quality care and education for young children
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- DBS check and right to work in the UK
