Position: Emergency Physician

Salary: Indicative Total Remuneration $451,185 - $528,341 p.a. (pro rata) MDO2
Role Overview:
- Provide high-standard clinical services in the Emergency Department.
- Work across multiple sites including a major trauma and obstetric center.
- Join a high-performing multi-disciplinary team known for teamwork, communication, and excellence.
- Supervise, support, and educate Senior Medical Practitioners, Trainee Medical Officers, and Medical Students.
- Collaborate with FACEMs/PEMs with expertise in Trauma, Paediatrics, Research, Well-being, Leadership, and Training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert emergency care to patients from newborns to geriatrics.
- Engage in supervision and teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff.
- Participate in continuing medical education and professional development.
- Contribute to a busy and dynamic Emergency Department with approximately 85,000 - 90,000 attendances per year.
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Specialist qualifications and registration with the Medical Board of Australia in Emergency Medicine or an equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in supervising and teaching medical staff.
- Demonstrated participation in approved continuing medical education.
- Extensive clinical experience in an Emergency Department.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
