Banana Moon Day Nursery, Sheffield is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our dynamic team. As a Nursery Practitioner at Banana Moon, you will play a vital role in nurturing and educating young children in a fun, safe, and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement engaging activities that support children’s learning and development.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and hygienic environment for children.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues while promoting teamwork.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, ensuring their developmental milestones are met.
- Support the Head and Room Leaders in daily nursery operations.
Working Hours:
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Shifts may include 8-hour and 10-hour options, Monday to Friday.
Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- A minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
- Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a dedicated team.
- Passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children.
