PRIORITY, one of the largest and fastest growing Management and IT consulting firms in Greece, is currently handling a Senior Network Security Engineer role on behalf of our client, a leading system integrator / service provider with expertise in ICT and cyber security solutions.
Position Summary:
The Senior Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust network security architectures and solutions. This role requires expertise in network security protocols, firewall protection, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and a solid understanding of advanced persistent threats (APTs) and other security-related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high level and detailed network design.
- Implement network solutions.
- Optimize performance of network infrastructure.
- Conduct regular assessments and perform health checks.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to network team.
- Address escalated troubleshooting issues
- Provide consulting services to presales
Requirements
Candidate Profile:
- BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security roles, with a focus on design and implementation.
- Applicants are expected to hold one or more of the following certifications:
- CCNP Security, CISSP, or CISM (preferred).
- NSE-4 or NSE-7
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
