Job Title: Clinical ABA Assistant
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, FULLY-REMOTE
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Clinical ABA Assistant to support our client's clinical team in providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. The BCBA Assistant will assist in conducting assessments, documenting clinical ABA notes, and supporting the implementation of individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment Support:
- Assist the BCBA with initial and ongoing assessments, including data collection and observation during ABA evaluations.
- Organize and prepare assessment tools and materials.
- Record and compile assessment results for review by the BCBA.
Documentation and Clinical Notes: - Accurately document session activities, client progress, and behavioral observations in clinical ABA notes.
- Maintain detailed, timely, and organized records in compliance with clinical standards.
- Assist with preparing reports and summaries based on treatment data.
Therapeutic Support: - Support the BCBA in implementing behavior intervention plans during therapy sessions.
- Provide reinforcement for positive behaviors and assist in teaching new skills.
- Assist in managing challenging behaviors using approved ABA strategies.
Communication and Collaboration: - Communicate effectively with the BCBA and other team members regarding client progress and needs.
- Support caregivers and stakeholders by providing updates and clarifying ABA goals as directed by the BCBA.
Compliance and Professionalism: - Adhere to the ethical and professional guidelines set by the BACB (Behavior Analyst Certification Board).
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and records.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
Experience:
- Extensive experience in ABA specially in the USA.
- Familiarity with ABA principles and data collection tools is an advantage.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while taking direction from a supervising BCBA.
