POSITION OVERVIEW
The Kate Farms Manager, Clinical Research Trials plans, develops, and manages clinical nutrition-related research projects. This position will involve ensuring the integrity of all clinical research projects while closely aligning them with the company goals.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Primarily responsible for the management of the clinical research portfolio. Ensures that research deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract between research parties.
· Manages initial research inquiries.
· Collaborates and works closely with investigators, CRO’s, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
· Oversees adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
· Assists in the design, development, and execution of the clinical research portfolio.
· May assist in preparing research findings for publications, abstracts, internal and external reports, and website.
· Builds and maintains relationships with research partners, organizations, healthcare providers.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO
· Has a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Nutrition, Dietetics, Clinical Research, Biochemistry, Public Health, or a related field.
· Is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or equivalent credential.
· Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical or nutrition-related research.
· Has a record of managing multi-phase research projects.
· Is familiar with regulatory standards, including FDA, IRB, HIPPA, and GCP (Good Clinical Practice) guidelines.
· Has strong organizational and writing skills with attention to detail.
· Has a strong commitment to the company's mission and values.

· Can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This position will work in a home/office environment, with regular trips to research project sites, scientific domestic and international conferences, and occasional trips to the corporate office or other meeting offsite locations.
Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component that together comprise the On-Target-Earnings (OTE). Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of equity.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. This range represents the lowest to highest salary range we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of background verification.
$106,900 - $135,500 USD
For full-time salaried or hourly workers, our total rewards package also include the option to enroll in a company-matched 401k plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Employees will also receive a generous PTO benefit with a starting accrual of 15 days per year (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure), two weeks of paid “Refresh” leave, 80 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
