The Warehouse Supervisor Healthcare plays a crucial role in building up and driving operational excellence within the healthcare warehouse team. As the operational leader, they inspire and motivate a group of warehouse operators to ensure efficient delivery processes, providing excellent customer service levels, a high performance while fostering a strong sense of teamwork.
- Manage all (Medtech & Pharma) incoming and outgoing process flows, ensuring smooth operations and proper handling.
- Oversee daily work planning to ensure seamless operations.
- Operational leadership
- Follow up of all Operational KPI’s and set targets.
- Responsible for creating all WH Healthcare SOP’s regarding operations, active, passive cooling processes, and customer required SOP’s.
- Integrate and be accountable for the quality inspection activities.
- Identify Continuous improvement projects taking into account the mid and long term strategy.
- Oversee task distribution within the team to ensure efficiency and balance.
- Adjust work schedules dynamically to meet fluctuating workloads.
- Lead, inspire, and develop the team by motivating, coaching, and guiding them to success.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and order throughout the warehouse.
- Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with all internal stakeholders, suppliers, customers and logistics partners .
- Actively participate in both digital and in-person meetings (internal and customer related) to maintain communication and collaboration.
Requirements
Essential skills
- Required experience of 3 to 5 years in Healthcare Warehouse Operations and/or Transportation Operations (Air, Road).
- Strong understanding of Pharmaceutical regulations and GDP guidelines.
- Operation experience with temperature controlled shipments.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, proven by experience.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
- Hands-on attitude.
- Constructive and respectful attitude.
- Good communicator.
- Fluent in Dutch, French and English, all spoken and written and at a professional level.
Knowledge
- Familiar with building up Healthcare operational processes (WH & Transportation).
- Able to write all relevant SOP’s internally and with the customer.
- Familiar with different logistics concepts, practices and procedures.
- Training or experience in lean management or project management is an asset.
- Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
- Experience with TMS of WMS.
- Knowledge of administrative and logistics processes.
