Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) programs and supervise students in various programs of Clinical Pastoral Education.

Develop specific program goals and objectives which are aligned with the strategic plan and Mission of the organization and the goals of the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education.

Conduct Level I and Level II clinical pastoral education programs in accordance with the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) standards.

Manage activities related to clinical pastoral students including recruitment, orientation processes, scheduling, mentoring, evaluation, satisfaction, conflict management and payroll.

Facilitate the ACPE accreditation process and maintain all CPE-related records, reports, policies, standards, procedures, educational and library resources.

Monitor budget, regulatory compliance, partner contracts and partner relations.

Assess quality and effectiveness of the clinical pastoral education program and services.

Determine the need for program revision and/or process improvement.

Maintain effective, collaborative relationships with partner institutions, pastoral care directors, members of the advisory council, denominational and seminary representatives.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Chaplain obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, Pastoral Studies or related field is required.
