Job Summary
The Director, Regional Operations provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for healthcare facilities within an assigned region. This role ensures the effective management of financial, administrative, and operational activities while driving quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and program development. The Director works closely with facility and regional leadership to achieve organizational goals, foster patient satisfaction, and maintain operational efficiency across all facilities in the assigned region.
Essential Functions

Provides strategic direction and leadership for healthcare facilities in the region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and initiatives.

Develops and monitors financial and operational plans for assigned facilities, including budgets, staffing models, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Oversees regional operations, including performance evaluations, compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.

Conducts on-site and remote evaluations of facilities to assess program performance, regulatory compliance, resident satisfaction, and operational efficiency, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Guides business and program development initiatives, including the establishment of new service lines, facility expansions, and partnerships, ensuring alignment with market needs and organizational strategies.

Collaborates with facility leadership to develop and standardize policies, procedures, and processes to ensure consistent and efficient operations across the region.

Provides guidance and mentoring to facility leadership, empowering them to achieve operational autonomy, professional growth, and leadership excellence.

Facilitates the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies to enhance relationships with new and existing customers in the region.

Coordinates with facility business offices to ensure effective accounting, billing systems, and financial performance tracking mechanisms are in place.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required

Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

4-6 years of post acute hospital and multi-facility operational experience required

4-6 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations required
