Position Summary
The Senior Manager, FP&A for Aetna’s Senior Supplemental portfolio is results oriented and expected to be a key influencer of long-term financial strategy for the supported business. In this role you will be responsible for the ownership of the financial reporting process and leading the analysis of financial results for Aetna’s Medicare Supplement and Ancillary products. You will lead budget and forecasting cycles for the business which include partnering with business leadership, actuarial and external partners to develop key assumptions and drivers of projected results, as well as ensure alignment with the long-term goals of the organization. You will oversee financial modelling supporting emerging strategy and business development opportunities on both ad hoc and regular basis. This individual will be expected to excel and exert influence in a fast-paced, cross functional working environment both independently and with guidance from business and finance leadership.
Responsibilities include:

Management, oversight and development of staff. Currently 2 directs, responsible for the tactical execution aspect of FP&A on Gross Profit and SG&A respectively.

Lead the development and execution of the overall Budgeting and Forecasting process.

Ensure timely, accurate reporting to senior leadership. Lead the analysis of financial trends, explain key findings to leadership.

Strategic decision support and influence. Through financial modelling, evaluate business opportunities, risk management strategies etc.

Cross functional financial guidance. Provide financial guidance to support departmental goals, act as primary liaison with actuarial.
Required Qualifications
At least 7-10 years of progressive finance or other aligned experience
Experience managing cross-functional matrixed partners and stakeholders
History of demonstrating strong analytic and critical thinking skills
History of leading and developing high-performing teams
Knowledge of GAAP accounting and financial operations
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree, CPA or other professional credentials
Knowledge of GAAP accounting for long duration products (LDTI)
Technical knowledge of financial systems (ex. Oracle, Hyperion and/or similar systems)
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $149,328.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
