You Will Be Responsible For:

Develop strategies to create content, post and engage with consumers and key stakeholders in the social/digital media space. These efforts should focus around the Public Affairs initiatives of developing relationships with key partners, advocacy on behalf of the organization and protecting the AdventHealth brand. These efforts should be coordinated with the social/digital Marketing and Marketing/Communications teams statewide.

Produce and develop quality multimedia content (written stories, videos and photos) that will have high performance not just on AdventHealth channels but will also have notable engagement with other social users. The manager should be able to identify and build relationships with journalists, bloggers and others.

Produce social media stories and content by independently conducting research, interviews, writing and video production.

Create Public Affairs-driven editorial calendars for long-term social media postings, and also post live multimedia supporting during media events and other strategic activities.

In working with Public Affairs leaders, create a unified voice for AdventHealth’s strategic initiatives across all social media platforms.
Qualifications
What Will You Need:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

Four-year college degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or similar area.

Minimum of three years experience managing social/digital media in a corporate advocacy setting.

Demonstrated successful performance of social media campaigns and content production.

Strong communication, writing, video, photography, graphic design, organization and computer skills are required.
Job Summary:
The Social Media Manager position develops strategy, messaging, content and engagement with social/digital media consumers across all AdventHealths social/digital media outlets. Supports the efforts of the AdventHealth Public Affairs teams in social/digital media by creating original content, developing relationships with strategic partners, advocating on behalf of the organization and protect the AdventHealth brand. This position is stationed within the Corporate Communications team, but must work closely with AdventHealth marketing social and digital media teams, AdventHealth communications colleagues statewide and the AdventHealth Public Affairs teams. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
