About the Job:
Performs manual and automated routine blood tests. Prepares specimens for microscope examination and for send out to reference laboratory. Operates laboratory equipment including centrifuges, laboratory analyzers, and blood bank refrigerators. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Reports to Laboratory Director.
Requirements:

Requires graduation from an accredited MLT/MT program and passing a national certification exam .

Also required State of Tennessee Medical Laboratory Professional license. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
