Position Summary:
This Lead Director - Solution Engineering provides strategic leadership and oversees the digital engineering function by managing a team of engineers, defining technical strategies and roadmaps, ensuring successful project delivery, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. This position will coordinate with stakeholders, allocates resources, drives technical excellence, and creates alignment between business goals and technical solutions to ensure continuous improvement of digital engineering capabilities within the organization.
Required Qualifications:

10+ years of software engineering experience
-
5+ years of Devops experience
-
5+ years of cloud experience
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience providing leadership and expertise in defining the technical architecture and design principles for digital solutions

Execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) experience

Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) preferred
-
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred
What you will do:

Oversee and manage digital engineering projects and programs, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline

Collaborates with executive leadership to define the digital engineering strategy and roadmap aligned with the organization's goals

Evaluates the relevance and potential impact of new technologies on the organization's digital engineering capabilities

Establishes and maintains quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices within digital engineering

Drives innovation initiatives within digital engineering, promoting a culture of creativity, experimentation, and learning

Ensures adherence to coding standards, software development methodologies, and testing practices to deliver high-quality digital solutions

Contributes to long-term planning, technology adoption strategies, and innovation initiatives to drive digital transformation
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$144,200.00 - $288,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
