Overview
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or PA to join our growing behavioral health team. The APP or PA-C, under the supervision of the Physician(s) who acts as the collaborative practitioner(s), is responsible for:

Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to formulate accurate diagnoses

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, psychopharmacology, and psychotherapeutic interventions

Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring for efficacy and side effects

Collaborate effectively with our primary care providers, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated whole person care

Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for managing and improving overall well-being

Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

SCHEDULE DETAILS:
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Active BLS required
-
DEA required
-
Valid, current Florida Medical License
