Responsibilities:

Responsible for obtaining demographic information and verification of eligibility, benefits and all pre cert requirements for most outpatient procedures.

Provide up front collection information to the outpatient registration area.

Responsible for making judgmental decisions concerning accounts in order to secure payment arrangements.
Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

One year registration experience within a healthcare facility (preferred).

Experience with personal computer applications or data input terminates (required).

Ability to utilize a calculator and type 35 words per minute (required).
