Job description overview:
Provides copywriting, copyediting and communications consultative services to Aetna business areas to ensure all copy being reviewed meets brand, voice, copy style, compliance and plain language guidelines. You will ensure that written communications shared through all print and digital channels are high-quality, error free and aligned with the company’s policies. You will serve as a strategic and trusted partner on member experience communications initiatives. You will work with colleagues to help them understand updates and requirements for communications.
FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENTS

Possess a deep understanding of health insurance industry, health care benefits products, audiences and business objectives.

Copywrites and copyedits high-volume member communications to ensure they meet brand, compliance and quality standards.

Reviews and copyedits communications materials (e.g., publications, marketing materials, ads, scripts) according to company’s brand, voice and plain language standards.

Works collaboratively with multiple business partners to secure adherence to company’s brand, voice, plain language and marketing compliance standards.

Learns Workfront platform work within the framework to move pieces through workflow to legal and compliance.

Works efficiently to ensure all work is fluid and meeting deadlines.

Produce and is accountable for the final development ofidentifiedsimplification assets and ensures accuracy, attention to details and overall meets or exceeds the writing objectives.

Takes ownership of work and brings a solutions-based attitude to work.

Required Qualifications

5 plus years of copywriting/copyediting experience.

5 plus years of health care benefits marketing and communication experience.

Ability to accurately review complex materials including all graphics, texts, multimedia, web sites and charts with excellent attention to detail.

Excellent project management skills, highly organized with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines.

Operates effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks according to clients’ needs.

Strong written communication skills.

Dedication to ethical and compliance standards and timely completion of assigned projects.

Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
Education requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or senior professional with 5+ years in communications, proofreading or editorial related experience.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $132,600.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
