Position Summary
This position will be the technical lead for all aspects of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) application delivery for the Interoperability compliance program. Expectation will be to ensure 100% adherence to all CMS and state Interoperability compliance regulations in advance of the specified due dates. Fostering a strong collaborative environment within your development team and also with Interoperability business leadership, architecture, partner teams, and other organizations, will be critical to success. Your team will be supporting significant GCP development needs from all three of the Interoperability trains.
Major Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of GCP development scope for the Interoperability compliance program, including the significant CMS and state compliance mandates as well as the emerging non-compliance initiatives that bring significant value to Aetna, our members, providers and the entire healthcare industry.

Must be able to do hands on development work of all aspects of GCP delivery, including things like building GCP microservices, ingest/egress of GCP FHIR data stores, all infrastructure and other related aspects of the creation of the GCP architecture, etc.

Issues are triaged and addressed, and all pertinent issues are brought to Digital Data Analytics Technology (DDAT) leadership in an organized, succinct manner.

Collaborate with Interoperability business and DDAT senior leaders to understand all priorities, problems, and goals

Apply an understanding of the Company’s business, building strong and sustainable relationships, and interacting with all levels of the organization
Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience leading application development teams

10+ years of experience Must demonstrate strategic thinking as well as “roll up your sleeves” action

5 years of experience with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)

5 years of deep experience with the CMS Interoperability compliance regulations

3+ years of experience in application architecture

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$144,200.00 - $288,400.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
