Position Summary

At CVS Health you can put your skills and interests to work by joining our Retail Pharmacy Finance team. An individual who joins our team will support financial analysis and establish and maintain financial controls for some of our most impactful areas.
As a Financial Analytics Sr. Manager (IC), you will be responsible for completing quarterly checks on Cost Vantage file, which sets drug reimbursement. This will involve maintaining existing processes, researching issues and establishing any additional controls needed. The individual will have a firm understating of pharmacy drug pricing methodologies and the various stakeholders in drug supply chain. The individual may also support additional CostVantage work related to auditor attestation and setting annual assumptions. The individual’s overall objective will be to establish and maintain a robust a process of ensuring we avoid any unanticipated risks. The individual will collaborate with and influence many departments within the company to ensure impacts are properly calculated and understood by all stakeholders. Additionally, the individual may complete various ad-hoc analyses to quantify financial impacts and support various medium to large size projects and present findings and recommendations to leaders across multiple departments.
The candidate will…
· Support and maintain financial controls for the Cost Vantage pricing methodology
· Create and maintain financial models, primarily in Excel, to ensure proper financial controls and research ad-hoc issues
· Gather business insights, source analysis inputs and collaborate with various internal stakeholders across departments including: Accounting, Finance FP&A, Payer Relations, Operations, Trade, and other corporate departments
· Access, construct, and manipulate large datasets to support financial analyses, using SQL, Excel, and similar tools
· Drive projects related to a wide variety of financial and operational business needs
· Present findings, develop and propose recommendations to leaders across multiple departments
Required Qualifications
· 7 + years’ experience in finance, analytics, and/or pharmaceutical pricing
Preferred Qualifications
· Prior experience in pharmacy financial analytics or pharmaceutical pricing
· Experience in Microsoft Excel-based modeling
· Experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing large data sets and then using it to draw conclusions and problem solve
· Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to various business groups
· Ability to interact with others in a collegial and professional manner and help foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks
· Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities
Education
· Bachelor’s degree required
· Degree related to finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarial science, economics, or other data/finance related fields preferred.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
