A Brief Overview
Provides specialized technical assistance and troubleshooting expertise by assisting with equipment maintenance, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues, and providing guidance to individuals or teams working on engineering projects. Plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and functionality of engineering systems and equipment.
What you will do.

Directs groups on regular inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance on automated machinery and systems used in the pharmacy, such as prescription dispensing machines, robotic systems, or inventory management systems.

Advises on and resolves technical issues or malfunctions in automated equipment by analyzing error codes, conducting diagnostic tests, and repairing or replacing faulty components.

Ensures automated systems calibrations and testing are accurate, efficient, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Approves detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and equipment performance.

Counsels’ pharmacy staff, technicians, or other maintenance personnel on necessary protocols to ensure smooth operation and integration of automated systems into daily workflows.

Reports any issues, trends, or recommendations to management for review and resolution.

Assures proper escalation to Sr Leadership on equipment issues.

Establishes protocols to ensure systems are validated and operate under the regulatory statutes and are enforced by State Boards of Pharmacy, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agencies.

Oversees and manages vendors on control-related deliverables to ensure they meet necessary regulations.

Acts as a top-level specialist to design and provide training to the equipment support and maintenance teams, while providing guidance and support to ensure proper adherence to safety protocols and efficient use of equipment.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 10pm-6:30am. Saturday 12am-8:30am.
Pay range: $36 - $40hr
For this role you will need Minimum Requirements

5-7 years’ work experience
-
5+ years of general maintenance and troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

5+ years of experience of professional maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
-
5+ year of experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical control systems and PLC based control systems, knowledge of PLC’s, PLC troubleshooting.

Adept at problem solving and decision-making skills.

Must be comfortable with physical labor including:
-
Crawling under conveyor and working in confined spaces.
-
Lifting 60Ibs without assistance.
-
Climbing ladders and industrial platforms.
-
Comfortable in Aerial Lifts.
-
Able to Walk and be on feet for 90% of shift.
-
Working with Dirty equipment during Preventative Maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Preferred Education, PLC programming, Robotic training, Electronic System’s controls.

Troubleshooting and maintenance for automation robotics, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems in a sophisticated automated large volume pharmaceutical dispensing facility.

Troubleshooting electro-mechanical control systems, VFD drives, Conveyor systems, and be responsible for supporting the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control systems.

Performing preventative maintenance on equipment, notifying the Manager of any concerns regarding major repairs needed or any additional equipment needed to support the pharmacy automation equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area for all employees.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$21.10 - $44.99
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
