Th e community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas
The role you’ll contribute:
Coordinate the work order request system, maintain logs and records for recurring inspections by outside agencies, use the Trane Tracer ES Building Automation System to adjust room temperatures and be a first responder for emergencies requiring the use of fire alarm panels, security lock system, medical gas alarm panels and order repair parts for the maintenance staff.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Manages the PeopleSoft Maintenance Management system to efficiently and accurately prioritize work orders submitted by hospital staff.
· Manages record keeping requirements for external inspections by AHJ (Authorities Having Jurisdiction).
· Ordering of parts for maintenance technicians.
· Working with the Plant Operations Manager, develops the work order tasks and establishes the preventive maintenance (PM) work order schedule to ensure timely and accurate PM’s occur on schedule.
· Maintains proficiency in operator function with several alarm notification systems.
· Demonstrates the ability to fully operate the Trane Tracer ES building automation.
· Attains all agreed to goals and objectives within specified time frames, as part of the origination’s overall mission.
· Attends all required Safety Training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, specific job-related hazards .
· Responsibly follows the Hospital Exposure Control Plans/Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens .
· Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous hospital environment .
· Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team inter and intra departmentally to facilitate the department's/unit's ability to meet its goals and objectives.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· Experience using CMSS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) such as PeopleSoft to manage the work order process Required.
· Ability to master the operation of multiple complex electronic alarm panels and computerized systems such as Simplex Fire Alarm, Medical Gas, Generator, Fire Pump, Boilers, Fuel Oil Pump.
· Knowledge of Joint Commission or DNV inspection requirements.
· 2 commercial building maintenance department employment or commercial construction work Preferred
