Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, including:

Patient Assessments and Treatment:

Conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluations, including range of motion, strength testing, and functional assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Injury Prevention:

Conduct ergonomic assessments at worksites to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
Develop and implement workplace safety programs, including employee training on proper body mechanics and ergonomics.
Participate in injury prevention initiatives, such as wellness programs and health fairs.

Return-to-Work Programs:

Collaborate with employers and case managers to develop and implement return-to-work plans.
Provide functional capacity evaluations and job site analyses to determine employee work restrictions and accommodations.
Communicate effectively with employers, employees, and other healthcare providers regarding patient progress and return-to-work status.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
Participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs.
Assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in [State].
Minimum of [Number] years of experience in an occupational health setting preferred.
Strong clinical and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, employers, and other healthcare providers.
