Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, including:
Patient Assessments and Treatment:
- Conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluations, including range of motion, strength testing, and functional assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Injury Prevention:
- Conduct ergonomic assessments at worksites to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Develop and implement workplace safety programs, including employee training on proper body mechanics and ergonomics.
- Participate in injury prevention initiatives, such as wellness programs and health fairs.
Return-to-Work Programs:
- Collaborate with employers and case managers to develop and implement return-to-work plans.
- Provide functional capacity evaluations and job site analyses to determine employee work restrictions and accommodations.
- Communicate effectively with employers, employees, and other healthcare providers regarding patient progress and return-to-work status.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in [State].
- Minimum of [Number] years of experience in an occupational health setting preferred.
- Strong clinical and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, employers, and other healthcare providers.
