Job Title: Dietetic Technician
Location: New York, NY
Assignment Duration: 16 weeks (Potential to Extend)
Start Date: ASAP

Payrate: $25.00 hr.

Job Overview:
Health Source Group is seeking a dedicated Dietetic Technician to support a newly opening unit in New York City. This unit will operate 7 days a week with daily coverage required. The role involves training for 2-3 weeks prior to the start date and working a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays (5 days per week).

Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering nutritional care services.
Support dietitians in assessing patient dietary needs and preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and nutritional guidelines.
Utilize computer systems for meal tracking, patient records, and inventory management.
Collaborate with food service teams, healthcare providers, and patients to optimize meal plans.
Maintain accurate records and assist with food service operations as needed.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED (Required)
Associate’s Degree in Nutrition, Food Service, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience (Required)
Food Safety Certification (Required)
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (Required)
Basic computer proficiency (Required)
Strong math, communication, and interpersonal skills (Required)
