Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced BCBA to join our team. The BCBA will oversee behavioral assessment and treatment programs, collaborate with families and staff, and ensure the highest quality of care for individuals with developmental and behavioral needs. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Behavioral Assessment & Program Development:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other standardized assessments.
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results.
Program Implementation & Oversight:
- Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff on implementing treatment plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
- Provide direct intervention when required.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistency across environments.
- Conduct regular parent/caregiver training sessions to support skill generalization.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary discussions.
Data Collection & Analysis:
- Ensure accurate data collection and maintain documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Analyze data to identify trends, measure progress, and report outcomes to stakeholders.
Ethical and Professional Standards:
- Adhere to the BACB Code of Ethics and stay updated on best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Pursue continuing education to maintain certification and improve clinical expertise.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Certification: Current certification as a BCBA in good standing with the BACB.
- Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or related conditions.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
