Lehigh Valley Imaging is looking for a per-diem X-ray Technologist to join our team!
Duties:
-Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray and related equipment.
-Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
-Follow protocols to ensure high-quality images are produced.
-Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.
-Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
Qualifications:
-Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent. BLS required upon hire.
-Proficiency in performing X-ray procedures, fluoroscopy and DEXA scans. DEXA experience is not required, a new employee can be trained on the job.
-Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
-Understanding of physiology and medical imaging techniques.
