Helping Hands operates multiple specialized residential programs / Enhanced Behavioral Supports Home (EBSH) in East San Jose, California.
The program is set in a modern residential home and serves up to four children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Helping Hands utilizes intensive interdisciplinary clinical services, employs competent and well-trained direct care staff, and utilizes best practices in person-centered care.
To support the behavioral health needs of the clients of the program, Helping Hands is now hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst which will be responsible for:
- Providing behavior modification intervention services for approximately 4 children
· Conduct functional assessments of clients to identify factors that are maintaining dangerous, maladaptive, and disruptive behaviors and develop IBSP (Individual Behavioral Support Plan-can reference regulations for details of everything that needs to be included)
- Designing, implementing, and monitoring the efficacy of behavioral plans
- Actively participating in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings
- Rapidly responding to individual client needs
- Serving as a member of the program's interdisciplinary team
· Develop data collection sheets and provide the team training on these
· Analyze, graph, and send behavioral data from previous month to Regional Center BCBA by 5th of each month
· Send treatment integrity to Regional Center BCBA by 5th of each month
· Send RBT supervision logs to Regional Center BCBA by 5th of each month
· Send verification of hours (VOC) to Regional Center BCBA by the 5th of each month
· Attend IBST meetings on third Tuesday of each month beginning at 9:15am
· Update the IBSP monthly and send to all members of IBST prior to the third Tuesday of each month (graphs should be updated monthly at a minimum)
· Provide monthly trainings to all team members
· Conduct treatment integrity monthly
· Ensure RBT supervision requirements are met monthly for all RBTs
· Attendance at quarterly Regional Center audits
· Attendance at semiannual Department of Developmental Services audits
