The Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) Behavioral Consultant will provide individual behavioral consultation services to children/youth and families, including providing clinical direction of the services, developing and revising the Individual Resiliency Plan, overseeing the implementation of the plan and consulting with the team regularly regarding service progress.
An IBHS Behavior Consultant must meet one of the following:
• Licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Behavioral Consultant (Accepting licensed and non-licensed)
• Certified as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis from an organization that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute
• Master’s degree from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalent in one of the following disciplines: psychology, ABA, social work, education, counseling or related field, which includes a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and a minimum of one year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults
• Master’s degree from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalent in one of the following disciplines: psychology, social work, education, or counseling and a minimum of one year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults
• Master’s degree from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalent in one of the following disciplines: psychology, social work, education, counseling or a related field, which includes a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
(College or university accreditation must be by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or be an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, with the provision of a general equivalency report to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency.)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The IBHS Behavior Consultant will:
Assess the child/youth’s behavioral needs across settings
Design and direction of the implementation of the behavioral interventions identified in the Individual Resiliency Plan
Identify behavioral goals in measurable terms and selecting appropriate interventions for inclusion in the plan
Model, teach and coach service team members to implement behavior intervention techniques identified within the plan
Consult with Mobile Therapists and/or Behavioral Health Technicians regarding behavioral management strategies
Review, analyze and interpret data to determine any changes in the goals and objectives in included in the plan
Review clinical outcomes for behavioral interventions being implemented with the child/youth, caregiver and team to determine effectiveness of individual services monthly
Facilitate interagency team meetings as needed to discuss progress, identify additional needs and determine plan
Understand behavioral challenges within the context of hierarchy of needs, attachment, trauma, etc. consistent with the service population
Understand and coordinate services with the various support systems available in the community to increase protective factors and minimize risk factors
Consult with other service providers and collaterals, including schools, children and youth agencies, etc.
Ensure recommended authorized services hours are provided weekly
Maintain clinical documentation within Bethanna, MCO and DPW standards
Attend all mandatory State, County, Managed Care, and Certification trainings required
If your position requires Licensure and/or Certification, the workforce member must ensure all credentialing and CEUs are completed in order to maintain an active license or certification

Salary Range- $50,000- NON LICENSED /$53,000-LICENSED
Schedule – Day Shift, can go into evening hours
Travel - schools, homes, and communities with .65 cents for every mile
