As we enter a growth phase, FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Center of West Pearland is seeking dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Physical Therapists to join our team of professionals. Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Perform new patient evaluations and examinations
- Determine necessary PT based on prescriptions, referrals, patient conditions, and records
- Plan, prepare, and administer treatment programs based on evaluation of patient data
- Evaluate and record the effects of treatment at various stages and adjust to achieve maximum benefit
- Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuum of care
- Keep timely documentation including but not limited to daily notes, weekly reports, initial evaluations, and discharge summaries
- Communicate with referring physicians
- Assist with marketing efforts as needed
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in TX
- One year of experience in an out-patient setting (ortho, neuro or vestibular) is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passion for learning and working with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk patients
