Orthopedic practice in Boca Raton looking for an Xray Technologist who is willing to help out with other parts of the practice.
An ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience in a medical office, specifically in orthopedics.
Responsibilities
· Under the direction of the Physician performs Radiographic examinations
· Verifies Physician orders
· Following standard protocols and checks for any malfunctions, notifying supervisor
· Utilizes proper exposure factors and performs radiographic exam following established protocols
· Assures a workflow program is established, followed, and maintained
· Must be comfortable with other office duties including, answering phones, making patient appointments, helping MA room patients if needed, and handling medical records requests during downtime.
· Establishes/enforces a system component maintenance schedule for cleaning and service
· Responds to end-user questions and requests for service in a timely and efficient manner
· Must be able to multi-task.
Qualifications
· Graduate of accredited Imaging/Radiology program
· Active Florida Radiology Technician/Technologist License required
· ARRT Certification required
· Strong proficiency in computer-based programs such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
· Ability to work well with other team members and consultants in offices as well as independently.
· Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in a complex, matrix environment.

Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
No Weekends
Salary will depend on experience
