About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Healthcare Business development and Partnership Manager to join our team. The Business Development & Partnership Manager is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company by identifying new business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and managing key relationships. This role involves a mix of strategic planning, relationship building, market analysis, and deal-making, all aimed at expanding the company’s market presence and revenue streams.
Responsibilities
Business Development:
- Drive the entire sales process from lead generation through to deal closure, ensuring client needs are met and deals are executed efficiently including but not limited to developing sales plans tailored to your local market, effectively converting high potential leads, driving training activities, managing demand & supplies, following up with any pre and post sales activities with the customers
- Oversee and manage relationships with the company's channel partners, setting clear goals for channel sales and implementing strategies to meet the goals
- Develop, build, and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals as the primary stakeholders
- Identify new business opportunities within the healthcare industry through a variety of channels including but not limited to face-to-face meetings, forums, conferences, etc.
Partnership management:
- Identify relevant business partners who can create best synergy with VentureBlick and manage partnership for best results
- Identify products that best match VentureBlick’s services and solutions and at the same time have the potential to be game changers in the market
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing partners, ensuring smooth collaboration and maximizing the benefits of the partnership.
- Implement market development strategies and tactics and make changes as needed
Networking and Relationship Building:
- Work with the business development/marketing teams to form the strategy for designing and refining the right customers targeting healthcare companies and medical professionals
- Design and present customized consulting proposals tailored to the unique needs of each client, focusing on solutions that help Korean companies globalize and assisting foreign healthcare entities in navigating Korea’s market environment
- Actively network and participate in various events to establish new contacts, stay informed about market trends, and promote company services within the healthcare sector
Thought Leadership and Industry Expertise:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes within the healthcare sector to drive thought leadership
- Leverage your subject matter expertise to provide valuable insights to clients and internal teams, positioning VentureBlick as a trusted advisor in the healthcare industry
Who You Are
- Fluency in both Korean and English is absolutely essential
- Proven track record of working (either in sales, business development, marketing or commercial roles) in multinational healthcare companies and an extensive network of healthcare industry is an absolute must (5-7 years)
- Bachelor’s Degree from a leading university, MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- Channel management experience a must(indirect sales)
- Deep understanding of the entire value chain of healthcare market in Korea, including regulatory challenges and commercialization processes for both local and international companies
- Creative thinker with strong business acumen, capable of diagnosing client needs and crafting bespoke, comprehensive consulting solutions to achieve client goals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of fostering relationships with key stakeholders and negotiating high-value contracts
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple projects and engagements
- Understanding of the start-up ecosystem a big plus
