The practice is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Practice Administrator to oversee the financial, operational, and human resources operations related to the organization. The position will work closely with the physician shareholders to lead and manage this thriving practice. The ideal candidate will have the ability to continue the practice's history of growth and innovation.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred. Will consider an Associate Degree with the appropriate medical practice management experience.
- Minimum 5 + years experience in a private practice setting; allergy practice a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in payor contracting and payor relations are a plus.
- Superior ability to manage relationships; work effectively within a multidisciplinary team of clinical and administrative staff.
- Ability to develop and maintain clear and consistent lines of communication to ensure all employees are aware of practice goals, priorities, and guidelines and deliver the highest quality empathic patient care/services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and establishes policies, procedures, and objectives and ensures adequate execution, compliance, and updates.
- Directs the preparation and maintenance of management reports necessary to carry out functions of the practice. Prepare periodic reports as required.
- Evaluate general and specific business conditions related to operational issues and advise the physicians on these matters.
- Advises and assists in developing organizational objectives and plans for their achievement.
- Within the scope of authority, ensures the development of systems (both manual and automated) to support practice-wide activities based upon business needs appropriately.
- Directs the coordination of hardware and software requirements of existing and future systems.
- Directs the development and implementation of organizational procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow within the organization.
- Monitor, analyze, assess, and communicate practice progress.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to the organization's structure, management philosophy, and mission statements.
- Responsible for maintenance/vendor contracts and various project management.
- Responsible for overall daily operation for all locations.
- Serve as the Compliance Officer for OSHA and HIPPA.
- Highly skilled in maintaining and enhancing the structure and organization of the practice, including recruiting and selecting employees.
- Have demonstrated success in planning, leading, managing day-to-day functions of the practice, and developing high-performing teams.
