We are looking for an experienced MRI Tech to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Produce quality images in an ever growing outpatient environment
- Verify accuracy of patient information and update as required
- Maintain clean exam rooms
- Partake in quality control measures
- Submit complete supply orders to Admin within the allotted time frame
- Adhere to any and all policies and procedures per ACR mandates including contrast media and safety
- Perform proper intake procedures on patients
- Maintain clear and concise documentation for the Radiologist
- Properly identify any need for special accommodations
Qualifications/Expectations:
- Ability to maintain clear and effective interdepartmental communication
- Communicate professionally and effectively with provider offices and patients
- Possess fundamental knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
- Ability to provide exceptional patient care
- 2+ years of experience preferred, not required
- Proficient computer knowledge
- Retain reliable transportation
- Experience operating a 1.5T scanner
- Possess medical background and understand basic terminology
- Maintain and abide by all HIPAA regulations
- Ability to work varying shifts Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and Saturdays as needed
- Bilingual preferred, not required
